Our work got 3 CARA nominations!!
The Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award (CARA) nominations for 2012 are in, and our work for the Cornell Chordials has netted us not one, not two, but three nominations!
The Chordials' album, "Pulse" was recorded, edited, mixed, and mastered right here at Four Legs Records. They were nominated in the categories of best mixed collegiate album, best solo, and best song. We'll get the results in April!

Mouth-Off loves our work!
Voices Only A Cappella 2011 is an annual best-of album, compiling the best songs from only the top colegiate A Cappella groups nation wide. This year, the creators selected "What's A Girl Gotta Do" by the Cornell Chordials as their contribution to the disc(s).
So on "Mouth Off", the podcast about the enchanting world of A Cappella, hosts Dave Brown and Christopher Diaz talked about their favorite tracks from the compilation, and as it turns out, our mix was unanimously the one!
Some quotes include, "Best song on the record, hands down," "The song is in a league above a lot of the others," and something about Steven Goldman 'making a damn show of the thing'.
Below is the clip taken straight from the show about our track. You can check out "Mouth Off" at their official website, and be sure to listen to the clip of this very song in our media section!

Our work has won multiple CARA awards!
Just a few days ago, the CARA award winners were released. The CARA awards, or Contemporary A cappella Recording Awards, are announced each year sorting through the best a cappella recordings in America. The Chordials' "Shake the Poet" won Best Song, Best Solo Performance, and came in just second for overall Best Album in mixed collegiate a cappella.
Pretty good for an album that only has six songs on it!
Four Legs Records mixed five of the songs, and mastered the whole thing. Check out the Chordials' page in our Media section to hear clips of the album.

Our song is the #1 track on BOCA!
A track from The Chordials' "Shake the Poet" has been selected for BOCA! The first track, a cover of Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody", was the top track on the most recent BOCA (Best Of Collegiate A cappela) CD, distributed nationally.

Perez Hilton has mentioned some of our work!
In a recent Twitter post, the popular gossip-columnist Perez Hilton praised the cover of "Ramalama" (Opb. Roisin Murphy) that the Chordials (Cornell's critically acclaimed a cappela group) did for their recent EP, "Shake the Poet". That track was mastered right here at Four Legs Records.
