April-May 2013, Major Upgrades
I've fully upgraded both the number and quality of preamps I have to offer here at Four Legs Records. My new Black Lion Audio custon modified preamps are objectively superior to anything we've yet to work with, and the new master clock is an astoundingly clear unit. I have also finished building a new annex to the studio - a dedicated voiceover/instrument booth capable of tracking while a full band plays. A very talented group from Brooklyn, 5J Barrow, was just in here laying down pretty much their entire band all at once! Look for some new clips very soon.
In other news, Michael Hunter's full-length album, "A Chance To Shine" is fully kickstarter-funded, and I'll have it mixed and ready to press before April ends! Lots of excellent drums, guitars, violin sections, vocals, and keys are in store for listeners. Also - Hard Soul's album is finally finished, and you can download it now! I have as well finished work for local rock band Olsen Court, the Cornell Chordials, and will soon be working with others. Stay tuned for new clips and an exciting new website layout!
I'll be streaming some live-mix and edit sessions for select projects on my Twitch.tv channel over the next few weeks.
Ongoing - My Live Stream!
I've started streaming live recording, editing, and mixing sessions directly from my studio in Washingtonville, NY! There are a couple of small cameras, and you can hear all the audio directly out of the main board just as I can!
From December through January, I'll be mixing A cappella, rock, and lots of things in between. You can check out the sessions as they go down! Follow me on Twitch, and get notified when I go live. twitch.tv/4legsrecords

What Makes Us Great?
Four Legs Records is for artists that above all else, expect results.
In an ordinary studio, you may end up with a clean recording done on analog equipment. At Four Legs Records, we understand that the standard recording process is rarely bold enough to produce Top 40 quality results. More important than any piece of equipment is the ear and the know-how of the engineer behind the sound.
What you get by recording with us is an astoundingly professional sound as a result of a talented engineer with experience, an exceptional ear, and enough clever tricks up his sleeve to make any artist sound like they're a chart-topper.
Four Legs Records specializes in tight, punchy full-band mixes. We can record a whole band at once, or individually track when preferable or necessary. Either way, your mix will be professional, and your band will sound absolutely huge!
We have won CARA and BOCA recognition for our work on competitive A Cappella. We can individually or multi-track an entire group. We can bring out the subtle nuances of the human voice, or we can smash a mix and make voices sound like the instruments in a band.
We are skilled at producing highly-polished site recordings. Whether you are a solo performer or a full band; we can come to you, set up some sound treatment, record on-site, and put out a product that sounds like it was done in a full studio.
If it makes you more comfortable, we offer flat rates for recording and initial mixing. No more feeling pressured to get that perfect take. We can set up a flat production rate before hand, and do whatever needs to be done to get the perfect product.
